4 1/2 c Flour; (all purpose) 1 1/2 c Sugar 2 ts Baking soda 1 1/2 c Brown sugar; (firmly packed) 2 ts Salt 2 ts Vanill extract 1 c Butter; softened 1 c Shortening 4 Eggs 12 oz Nestle chocolate chips Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl combine flour,baking soda and salt. In large bowl combine butter,sugar,brown sugar and vanilla extract . Beat in eggs. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips Semi-sweet. Drop by teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 14 min.. Makes about 5 dozen 2 1/4 cookies. -----
